Welcome Center to Slough Camp MSR

C&R to Slough Camp MSR
Distance: 12.7 miles
Elevation gain: 590 ft
Multi surface ride: good for mountain bike or gravel bike, no E bikes
Level: Advanced beginner
We will start at the Welcome Center and ride Catch and Release to a little past the Storm King take off. Then we double back on 41 to the Aspen entrance to pick up the double track to Dillan Falls. Then we ride on the newly surfaced DRT to Slough Camp where we will take a break. Then we will head back on the double track/single track to Lava where we exit on the dirt road until we can pick up C&R back to Welcome Center. Very few rocks or technical stuff on this one

i. You MUST sign up to go on this ride. After you press ATTEND, be sure to fill out the
“Complete Your RSVP” form with your cell number and Emergency Contact info, then
press SUBMIT. Please RSVP by 8 pm on July 9. If needed, please cancel in a timely manner so that someone else can take your spot.
ii. *****Bella rides are “no-drop” rides and no one will be left behind. In consideration of
others, we ask that you choose a ride that is close to your skill level based on the
description given of the ride.
iii. If you choose to leave the group by going significantly faster or slower, or taking a
different route, you have an obligation to let the leader know. When you leave the group,
you are on your own.
iv. No guests are allowed on this ride. You MUST be a current paid Bella member to attend.
Rain cancels the ride. Check Meetup by 8am on the morning of the ride for any updates.
This ride will be limited to 6 riders, myself included, in order to stay within social distancing guidelines, especially when gathering before and after the ride. Please don’t park too close together. Please stay 6 feet apart and masks are strongly encouraged during our brief pre-ride remarks and rest stops.
