Tumalo Wanderings Road Ride
July 15, 2020 @ 8:30 am - 10:30 am
Organizer: Diana Cutler (425) 890-3121 or [email protected]
Originally called “Weedville Wander”, due to all of the industrial hemp growing last year! This is a 24.1 mile ride around the peaceful roads of Tumalo and surrounding areas. This route is mostly flat through farms, ranches and agriculture. There’s one short hill down and quick rise up, just after “Three Ass Pass” (darling Donkeys) and nice views of the mountains.
***There is moderate traffic off and on, but mostly quiet and low traffic roads. Bring plenty of water and a snack, just in case. Wear layers if appropriate for the weather.
This ride is for women who want to ride approximately 25 miles at a pace of 13-15 mph. We will stop occasionally for regrouping. Please don’t sign up if you are a stronger, faster rider, or if you cannot ride 25 miles at this pace.

Our starting point will be the Tumalo Coffee House (19855 4th St, Tumalo, OR 97703). There are restrooms available if purchasing coffee, tea, etc. Please arrive in plenty of time to get yourself and your bike ready to ride. There are no facilities along the way. How about some coffee and snacks after, sitting outside on the deck!
This ride is limited to 6 riders, myself included, in order to stay within the Bella guidelines for social distancing. Please don’t park too close together. Masks are strongly encouraged during our pre-ride remarks, and please stay 6 feet apart then and during our rest stops.
You MUST sign up to go on this ride. After you press ATTEND, be sure to fill out the “Complete Your RSVP” form with your cell number and Emergency Contact info, then SUBMIT.
