TRUE BEGINNER MOUNTAIN BIKE: Upper PRT in Sisters
May 22 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

PLEASE READ THIS CAVEAT BEFORE RSVP’ING: Please do not sign up for this TRUE BEGINNER ride in the first 48 hours if you have been on a ride with either Michele this year. We would like some ladies who have been unable to get on a ride to do so. And we are encouraging some new members to come out and try us out!
Otherwise, You may sign up Saturday 8 am if space allows ie, you have been out for a ride with us this season and/or you consider yourself greater than a true beginner. THANK YOU.
Although this ride is meant for beginners, you should be comfortable riding a bike on dirt trails and be familiar with braking and shifting gears on your bike. Your bike should be in good working order. This ride is also appropriate for riders who are recovering from injury and are looking for an easy ride.
The Michele’s with one L have mapped out a relatively rock free route on upper Peterson’s Ridge Trail System. STARTING FROM THE TOP, NOT FROM THE PRT TH IN TOWN. The trailhead we are meeting is Whychus Creek Overlook TH. It has a bathroom. You will find it on your right, 5 miles from the main PRT TH up Elm street which turns into Three Creeks Road.
There will be 3 options, but you will not be dropped.
1. Ride all 12 miles
2. Ride 6 miles and say that’s good enough.
3. Ride 9 miles and skip the up/down to 2nd viewpoint.
