Sisters Ramble – Road Ride – Start at Aspen Lakes – 21 miles

This is a fun loop on the quiet country roads outside of Sisters with amazing scenery and an awesome countryside. It is a condensed version of the longer Sisters Ramble as we will be starting at Aspen Lakes Golf Club and avoid the climb out of Sisters.
We will meet in the parking lot of the Aspen Lakes Golf Club 16900 Aspen Lakes Dr Sisters. Please park toward the back of the parking lot away from the golf club entrance. The restroom is available. There is also a vault toilet at the Fryrear Trailhead where we will stop and take a short break. It is about 11 miles into the ride.
***Our pace will be a comfortable 11-13 mph and we will regroup periodically.Please don’t sign up if you are looking for a faster ride or you cannot ride 21 miles at this pace.
***We will gather promptly at 8:45am for a brief meeting and then roll out onto the route.
We will travel on mostly low traffic roads, however, we will be on Hwy 126 for a short distance, but it has a wide shoulder. We will cross Hwy 20 twice, so be careful.
***You MUST sign up to go on this ride. After you press ATTEND, be sure to fill out the “Complete Your RSVP” form with your cell number and Emergency Contact Infomation, then SUBMIT. If needed, please cancel at least 24 hours prior to the ride so that anyone on the waitlist can attend.

It helps to look at this in advance and print it out if possible. Pay attention to the elevation profile to see where the hills are. The elevation gain is 545ft.
Rain/Air Quality Index of 100+ will cancel the ride. Check Meetup by 7:00am on the morning of the ride for any updates.
***Bella rides are “no-drop” rides and no one will be left behind. In consideration of others, we ask that you choose a ride that is close to your skill level based on the description given of the ride.
***If you choose to leave the group by going significantly faster, or taking a different route, you have an obligation to let the leader know. When you leave the group, you are on your own.
No guests are allowed on this ride. You MUST be a current Bella member to attend.
***Lunch at Hop & Brew in Sisters after the ride for those interested.
