River Trail into Sunriver back via RoundAbout and Afternoon Delight: 17 miles
May 24 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

Appropriate for Advanced Beginners and Beyond! Easy Peasy to get into Sunriver, but a bit of a climb out of Sunriver to the top of Afternoon Delight where it is mostly a fun winding downhill back to cars. Approx 1190′ elevation gain with 1,020″ loss. https://ridewithgps.com/routes/36178379
This GPS route is approx one mile longer since it includes a down and back on one leg of the RoundAbout which we won’t do.
We park/meet at the dirt parking area on the right at the end of Conklin/Road 41 before it turns to gravel. Conklin Road is the road across from the Visitor’s center on Cascade Lakes Highway. This is know as “Tyler’s Traverse Trailhead” parking spot.
Meet and Greet at 9:45 am and Roll Out at 10:00 am. No restroom at the parking site, but in the first mile on the route we go through Slough Day Use Area which has one.
