Redmond- Smith Rock- 21 miles – Road Ride
May 13, 2021 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Organizer: Audrey Murray 925-999-5779 and Diana C. 425-890-3121
This will be limited to 8 riders, in order to stay within the Bella guidelines for social distancing. Masks are strongly encouraged during our pre-ride remarks and during our rest stops.
Our pace will be a moderate 12-14 mph since it is early in the season.
Please don’t sign up if you are a stronger, faster rider, or if you cannot ride 21 miles at this pace.
Our starting point will be the Redmond Water Treatment Plant
at 3100 NW 19th St in Redmond. It’s at the north end of the dry canyon paved bike path. There is a porta potty available.
We will gather promptly at 9:45 am for a brief meeting and then roll out on the route. We will travel on mostly low traffic roads, however there are small sections of busier roads with little or no shoulder. We will cross Hwy 97. We will take a break at Smith Rock and take in the beautiful view. The restrooms are open at Smith Rock.
After the break, we will loop back into Redmond thru quiet residential areas and ride on part of the Dry Canyon Trail. This is a beautiful ride with many scenic mountain views and an awesome countryside.
