Picnic Day – Road Ride – Tumalo Loop – 22 miles

Let’s ride this beautiful route around Tumalo before heading to the Bend Bella Picnic!
We will meet at the Tumalo Coffeehouse at 19855 4th Street in Tumalo. There is a restroom at the Coffeehouse but none along the route.
Ride Level: Advanced Beginner
Length of Ride: 22 miles
Terrain: Fully paved on mostly low traffic roads, however, there is a very short 1/2 mile stretch on Hwy 20 and we cross Hwy 20 twice.
Pace: Comfortable 11-13mph average and we will regroup periodically. Please don’t sign up if you are a stronger, faster rider, or you cannot ride 22 miles at this pace.

It helps to look at this in advance and see where the elevation gain is. This route takes us on much of the Twin Bridges Scenic Bikeway(including three-ass-pass)with beautiful mountain views and an awesome countryside!

Cancelation Notice: Rain/Air Quality of 100 or above will cancel this ride. Check meetup by 7:00am on the morning of the ride for any updates.

You MUST sign up to go on this ride. After you press ATTEND, be sure to fill out the “Complete Your RSVP” form with your cell number and Emergency Contact Information, then SUBMIT. If needed, please cancel at least 24 hours prior to the ride so that anyone on the waitlist can attend.
***Bella rides are “no-drop” rides and no one will be left behind. In consideration of others, we ask that you choose a ride that is close to your skill level based on the description given of the ride.
***If you choose to leave the group by going significantly faster, or taking a different route, you have an obligation to let the leader know. When you leave the group, you are on your own.
