Peterson Ridge MTB
September 18 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm
Let’s get out for a nice fall ride on Peterson Ridge Trails. We will roll from the Village Green Park to the trail head and head up the PRT West, staying on that to the overlook at Trail Post 21. From there we can decide how far we want to go before crossing over on one of the trail connectors to PRT East for the fun descent back to the trail head. Here is a link to the trail map:
These are available at the trail head. If you think you may branch off from the group at anytime, I suggest you grab one.
This ride is for advanced beginner/intermediate MTN bike riders: those who are gaining experience with moderate distances with some elevation gain and single-track trails with minimal technical terrain such as small rocks and/or tree roots to moderately technical terrain including uphill climbs, downhill descents, and some switchbacks. We will take this ride at an easy pace with frequent stops and opportunities to take in the beauty around us. You will like this ride if you consider yourself an intermediate rider interested in a conversational paced ride. Route length can be adjusted to fit your ability, 6-17 miles.
ALL of our rides are ‘no-drop’ rides and the Bella’s are committed to helping one another improve our riding skills. In consideration of other riders, however, we do ask that you choose an ability level that is close to your skills. If you do branch off on your own, please let the ride leader know.
Rain/thunderstorms/high winds will cancel this ride. Any changes due to weather or other factors will be announced on Meetup the day/evening before the ride. There are restrooms at the available at the start.
