Peterson Ridge – Advanced Beginner/Easy Pace
April 14 @ 10:30 am - 12:30 pm

Organizer: Nancy Whitlach and Kelly ONeill 928-363-0121
Sorry for the last minute post, but tomorrow should be a perfect day for riding!
Plan to meet at 10:15 ready to roll by 10:30am.
Peterson Ridge Trail is a well maintained single track, crossing forest roads, and dry creek beds strewn with rounded cobble. The trail is constructed of west and east legs, with connector trails in between, like a ladder with rungs. The intersections are well marked with numbered posts that correspond with the trail map. The PRT West posts are numbered with Odd numbers; the PRT East posts are numbered with Even numbers.
This is an Advanced Beginner ride and will be at an EASY pace. Plan on 6-7 mph average for the whole ride. We will be taking the middle trails when they are available to avoid some rocky sections. This ride is not suitable for beginners. 14 miles and 600′ of climbing.

For safety, a helmet is required as well as a bell or whistle to alert other riders on the trail as needed.
