Lava to Lava MT/Gravel Bike

This ride is open only to Bellas who have been vaccinated for Covid
This ride is not suitable for Ebikes
Enjoy the falls colors along the Deschutes river!
The ride starts at Lava Island day use area and takes us to the Lava lands visitor center. Then we head back to Lava Island via a slightly different path
I will be riding at a relaxed pace on both double and single track with regrouping at major intersections
It is a bit of a long ride but mostly non technical terrain
You have the option of doing either the paved or the single track segment of the Black Rock trail
No restroom at the starting point but one within the first mile and at the Lava Lands visitor center
i. You MUST sign up to go on this ride. After you press ATTEND, be sure to fill out the
“Complete Your RSVP” form with your cell number and Emergency Contact info, then press SUBMIT.
Please RSVP by 8 pm on 9/30 . IF NEEDED, PLEASE CANCEL IN A TIMELY MANNER SO THAT SOMEONE ELSE CAN TAKE YOUR SPOT.
ii. Bella rides are “no-drop” rides and no one will be left behind. In consideration of others, we ask that you choose a ride that is close to your skill level based on the description given of the ride.
iii. If you choose to leave the group by going significantly faster or slower, or taking a different route, you have an obligation to let the leader know. When you leave the group, you are on your own.
iv. No guests are allowed on this ride. You MUST be a current paid Bella member to attend.
Rain cancels the ride. Check Meetup by 8am on the morning of the ride for any updates.
