Intermediate MTB: Baker’s Dozen!
June 18, 2020 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

This is an intermediate ride from the Welcome Center through the lower Phil’s which touches on 13 different trails: a Baker’s Dozen! It will be about 20 miles with maybe 1600 ft of climbing, give or take a few 100 feet. We will stop briefly at all major intersections for water and a short break and chatting. We’ll keep an intermediate pace with plenty of time for socializing. This is a fun ride!

Meet at the Welcome Center … where parking is now open but the potty’s are still closed.
Starting from the Welcome Center we’ll head down COD to ELV. At the intersection of ELV and Expressway we’ll turn right then take the next left on KGB to the Chicken. Then we’ll climb up KGB to Kents. We’ll ride up Kents, and then we’ll take a right on Voodoo to Ben’s. Going down Voodoo is a fast fun downhill … a nice reward. Then we’ll take a left on Ben’s to 300 road. We’ll gather at 300 road before starting the climb up Pinedrops to the bench. Climb at your own pace. We’ll gather at the bench. Now … the majority of the climbing is over. From there it’s mostly downhill.
After a very short section on Phil’s we’ll head down Storm King. Then turn left on Grand Slam. Grand Slam intersects with a forest road where we’ll turn left. After a short ride up the gravel road we’ll turn right on Voodoo Child. We’ll finish with a fun, swoopy downhill through the TTR canyon. The ultimate reward for all our climbing!
