Horse Butte to China Hat Road Mountain Bike

I did this ride last week and the dirt was in pretty good shape, unlike myself!!
We do the first part of the Horse Butte Loop in a clockwise direction. About 5 miles in, instead of hanging a hard right to complete the loop, we will continue straight up the hill. The sign at the junction says Skeleton Cave, I believe. This single track will climb up to China Hat Road.
We can either return on the same route, or ride down the gravel and then the paved section of China Hat Road. A right on FS 1815 drops us back at the parking area.
The ride is 14 miles and has some climbing, not sure of exact numbers.
The ride is suited to riders with some single track experience. Please check that your bike is trail ready. We will roll out at 11 am from the Horse Butte parking lot.
