Horse Butte out and back

Ready to roll at 11:30 am
Meet in Horse Butte parking area
Turn off the unpaved Horse butte road at the usual spot but do not park there. The other group will be parked there. Keep going about a half mile to the large parking area across from the trailhead sign
Look for the white Toyota van in that parking area across from the starting trailhead for Coyote.
Nice out and back that avoids negotiating the rock staircase on the loop trip.
There are some technical areas which can be walked and there are some random rocks on the trail. It is mostly a gradual climb up to the cave then a nice downhill on the way back.
Bring water, a snack and an extra layer if cool weather day

There will be a full loop very mellow trip offered at 11 am
You will have to sign up for it and take your name off this trip if you would like to go on the full loop trip
i. You MUST sign up to go on this ride. After you press ATTEND, be sure to fill out the
“Complete Your RSVP” form with your cell number and Emergency Contact info, then press SUBMIT.
Please RSVP by 8 pm on the night before the ride. If needed, please cancel in a timely manner so that someone else can take your spot.
ii. *****Bella rides are “no-drop” rides and no one will be left behind. In consideration of others, we ask that you choose a ride that is close to your skill level based on the description given of the ride.
iii. If you choose to leave the group by going significantly faster or slower, or taking a different route, you have an obligation to let the leader know. When you leave the group, you are on your own.
iv. No guests are allowed on this ride. You MUST be a current paid Bella member to attend.
Rain cancels the ride. Check Meetup by 8am on the morning of the ride for any updates.
