Easy Rider ROAD RIDE – Redmond Loop thru Dry Canyon Trail – 18 miles
June 5, 2020 @ 9:30 am - 11:30 am
Organizer: Mary Fajer 503-369-2914 or [email protected]
This ride starts at the NW entrance to the Dry Canyon Trail near the Water Treatment Facility. See address and map below. You will see a sign for the Dry Canyon Parking lot off of 19th street. Contact Mary in advance if you need help finding it. There is a porta potty there but it may not have toilet paper, so be prepared. Please arrive in plenty of time to get you and your bike ready to ride.
This ride will be limited to 6 riders, myself included, in order to stay within social distancing guidelines, especially when gathering before and after the ride. Please don’t park too close together. Please stay 6 feet apart and masks are strongly encouraged during our brief pre-ride remarks and rest stops. We will NOT be going to lunch after.
This ride is for women who want to ride 18 miles at a pace of 10-12mph. We will stop occasionally for regrouping. For some it might be the first ride of the season. Please don’t sign up if you are a stronger, faster rider, or if you cannot ride 18 miles at this pace.
We will depart promptly at 9:30am and ride thru the Dry Canyon Trail, then head out onto quiet residential streets before making our way to low traffic country roads and beautiful scenery!
You MUST sign up to go on this ride. After you press ATTEND, be sure to fill out the “Complete Your RSVP” form with your cell number and Emergency Contact info, then press SUBMIT. Please RSVP by 5pm on Thursday, June 4th. If needed, please cancel in a timely manner so that someone else can take your spot.
