CANCELLED: Easy Rider Road Ride on Dry Canyon Route in Redmond

Easy Rider means we will ride for a shorter distance at an average pace of 10-12mph. Please do not sign up if you are a stronger, faster rider.
We will meet in the parking lot at Cracker Barrel in north Bend. Please arrive in time for a departure ***promptly*** at 8:30am. If you wish to carpool with someone to our starting point, please arrive earlier to switch bikes around. You will follow me in your cars to our starting point in Redmond at the north end of the Dry Canyon.
The route is on the paved Dry Canyon bike path and then on low-traffic residential streets around Redmond. Wear bright colors as we will be on city streets with some car traffic.
A road or hybrid bike would work; ebikes are also welcome. (A mountain bike would be slower so you should probably be a stronger rider if you bring one of those.)
Please bring a helmet, lights for the front and rear of your bike, a rear-view mirror, a whistle, and a flat-tire repair kit. Bring water and a snack, just in case. Also bring your cell phone, ID, and your medical insurance card.
The ride will be limited to 8 people, including myself.

The route is 11 miles long and is mostly flat, except for 1 hill.
Afterwards we will go to lunch at the new Otto’s Landing food truck lot on 7th Street/Greenwood in Redmond.
You must RSVP for this ride and be a current paid member of the Bellas. After you press ATTEND, fill out the “Complete your RSVP” with your cell number, plus your emergency contact name and number.
Bella rides are “no-drop” rides and no one will be left behind. If you leave the group, you must let the leader know, and then you are on your own.
