Easy Rider ROAD RIDE: Dry Canyon Loop around Redmond
July 7, 2020 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am

Organizer: Laury Riley
This ride will be about 18 miles long, at a pace of 12-14mph. Please do not sign up if you are a stronger rider, or if you cannot ride this distance and/or pace. The ride will be limited to 6 people, myself included.
Please meet at the North Entrance to the Dry Canyon in Redmond. Directions: Drive through Redmond and beyond on Hwy 97. After you have left Redmond, look for the yellow blinking light and the sign “Pershall Way” and turn LEFT. Then turn LEFT again onto NW 19th St. Drive to the end and follow the sign to the right into the parking lot. There is a porta-potty there.
Please allow at least 45 minutes to drive there and get yourself ready to ride, depending on where you are coming from.
We will gather promptly at 9am for a brief pre-ride meeting. Please wear a mask at this meeting, and keep 6 feet of distance from each other then and at any rest stops.
This is a favorite ride for many (including me) and includes some beautiful mountain views on low-traffic roads in the countryside around Redmond. Here is the RWGPS info for the route:

You MUST sign up to go on this ride. After you press ATTEND, be sure to fill out the “Complete Your RSVP” form with your cell number and emergency contact info, then press the arrow to submit. If you must cancel, please do it in a timely manner so someone on the waiting list can take your spot.
Helmets are required. It’s a good idea to wear bright colors, have a flashing rear tail light, and bring a whistle in case of any problems. Bring plenty of water and a snack. Wear layers that can be shed as it warms up.
Rain cancels the ride. Check Meetup by 7:30am on the morning of the ride for any updates.
