Bella events are for dues current members of the Bend Bella Cyclists. Non-members are welcome on their first ride without a membership but must sign a waiver and give it to the ride leader before the ride. Please note that this privilege may only be used once — you must become a member before attending your second Bella ride. To become a member, please join HERE.
Our Ride Coordinator, Amy Brannan, can help you map out rides and/or suggest routes of your preferred length and level of difficulty. You can contact her at [email protected].

Easy Rider ROAD RIDE: Big Sky Easy Loop
May 26 @ 9:30 am - 11:30 am
Organizer: Laury Riley
This ride will be limited to 6 riders, myself included, in order to stay within social distancing guidelines, especially when gathering before and after the ride. Please don’t park too close together. Please stay 6 feet apart and masks are strongly encouraged during our brief pre-ride remarks and rest stops. We will NOT be going to lunch after.
This ride is for women who want to ride 15 miles at a pace of 10-12mph. We will stop occasionally for regrouping. For some it might be the first ride of the season. Please don’t sign up if you are a stronger, faster rider, or if you cannot ride 15 miles at this pace.
We will depart from the Big Sky Park promptly at 9:30am. See the map and address given below, and contact Laury in advance if you need help finding it. There is a restroom there which is unlocked. Please arrive in plenty of time to get you and your bike ready to ride.
This ride is about 15 miles long and mostly flat, with a few rolling hills on mostly rural roads. We will ride for 1/2 mile on busy Alfalfa Road. There is no bike lane on that segment of the ride and some steady traffic.
Here is the RWGPS info for the ride:
You MUST sign up to go on this ride. After you press ATTEND, be sure to fill out the “Complete Your RSVP” form with your cell number and Emergency Contact info, then press SUBMIT. Please RSVP by 5pm on Monday evening, May 25. If needed, please cancel in a timely manner so that someone else can take your spot.
Helmets are required. It’s a good idea to wear bright colors and bring a whistle in case of any problems. Bring plenty of water and a snack, just in case. Wear layers that can be shed as it warms up.
Rain cancels the ride. Check Meetup by 8am on the morning of the ride for any updates.
*****Bella rides are “no-drop” rides and no one will be left behind. In consideration of others, we ask that you choose a ride that is close to your skill level based on the description given of the ride.
If you choose to leave the group by going significantly faster or slower, or taking a different route, you have an obligation to let the leader know. When you leave the group, you are on your own.
No guests are allowed on this ride. You MUST be a current paid Bella member to attend.
