Easy Rider Road Ride around Camp Sherman

This ride is for those who like to ride 15-20 miles at a slower pace of 12-14mph. Please do not sign up if you are a stronger, faster rider.
This route is shady for much of the ride so it’s a good one to do when it’s hot. It takes about an hour to drive there so plan to arrive in time to be ready to ride at 9:15am.
We will depart from the Camp Sherman Store parking lot. There is a toilet there. If you need directions, send me a Comment.
The road is a bit rough but it is paved. A road or hybrid bike or an ebike would work well. We will ride down to the Lower Bridge for a view over the Metolius River and back (14 miles). There is an option for more miles for those who wish to ride out on Green Ridge Rd and back (for a total of 20). We will stop occasionally to regroup as needed.
We can stop at the Wizard Falls Fish Hatchery for a break if interested.
Afterwards we can have lunch in Camp Sherman at Hola’s for whoever wants to stay.

Please RSVP Yes if you plan to attend, and answer the 3 questions that will pop up.
Please have a light on the front and back of your bike, a mirror, and bring a flat-tire kit. Also bring plenty of water and a snack just in case.
Bella rides are “no-drop” rides and no one will be left behind. Please choose a ride that is close to your skill level. If you choose to leave the group by going significantly faster or taking a different route, you have an obligation to the leader to let her know. When you leave the group you are on your own.
