Bella events are for dues current members of the Bend Bella Cyclists. Non-members are welcome on their first ride without a membership but must sign a waiver and give it to the ride leader before the ride. Please note that this privilege may only be used once — you must become a member before attending your second Bella ride. To become a member, please join HERE.
Our Ride Coordinator, Amy Brannan, can help you map out rides and/or suggest routes of your preferred length and level of difficulty. You can contact her at [email protected].
Advanced Beginner Road Ride Camp Sherman Loops
October 16 @ 10:15 am - 12:15 pm
This is a beautiful ride on low traffic roads around Camp Sherman. The ride is mostly flat with one or two hills. We may still be able to see some fall colors. But it will likely be cooler, hence our later start, so wear layers. We can stop at the bridge near the Fish Hatchery to see the beautiful blue Metolius River.
We will start at the Camp Sherman Store. There is a small parking lot across the road from the store and some parking on the road. There is a vault toilet near the store.
Please sign up so you can get any changes. Let me know if you want to carpool. Rain or snow cancels. I will follow the weather. The pace will be 12-14 mph.
Please also have a copy of the route or cue sheet.
Here is the RWGPS info for this ride: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/30606713
Bella rides are “no-drop” rides and no one will be left behind. In consideration of others, we do ask that you choose an ability level that is close to your skills. If you choose to leave the group by riding significantly faster or taking a different route, you have an obligation to let the leader know. When you leave the group, you are on your own.
Non-Bella members are welcome on their first ride without a membership. They must bring a signed waiver, available here: www.bendbellacyclists.org and click on JOIN. This privilege may only be used once. Riders must become members before attending a second Bella ride.
