Advanced Beginner MTB from Phil’s Trailhead

Advanced Beginner ride from Phil’s Trailhead.
This will be a moderate Advanced Beginner paced mtn bike ride. We will start by going up Ben’s. There is some climbing but we will stop a few times and regroup as needed. We will take a brief break at the intersection with Voodoo, then proceed to Voodoo, Voodoo Child to the intersection with Ticket to Ride North. TTR north is a fun downhill, then COD/ELV to the chicken then down Phil’s back to the trailhead.
No e-bikes allowed on this ride.
Ride Level: Advanced Beginner
Length of Ride: 11.9
Pace: 6-8mph on average
Terrain: Single-track dirt with some rocks on the trail but mostly rideable. Rocky areas can be walked.
Elevation: 703ft
For Safety: Helmet, Bike in good working order, flat tire repair kit
Be Ready to Roll at 9:00am – arrive 15 minutes prior for a pre-ride meeting

Cancelation Notice: Rain or an AQI above 100 will cancel this ride. Look for an update on meetup by 8am on the morning of the ride

*****Bella rides are “no-drop” rides and no one will be left behind. In consideration of others, we ask that you choose a ride that is close to your skill level based on the description given of the ride.
If you choose to leave the group by going significantly faster or slower, or taking a different route, you have an obligation to let the leader know. When you leave the group, you are on your own.
