Advanced Beginner Gravel Ride: “Dirty” Twin Bridges
April 28, 2021 @ 11:00 am - 1:00 pm

Organizer: Mimi Graves 541-419-9616 or [email protected]
This will be limited to 8 riders, in order to stay within the Bella COVID guidelines . Masks are strongly encouraged during our pre-ride remarks and during our rest stops.
Our pace will be a moderate 10-11 mph since it is early in the season.
Our starting point will be my driveway as we’ll head out on Hunnell Road right behind my house. You can park on either side of the street at the end of the driveway. I have a metal sunflower there. The address is 64150 Tanglewood Dr, Bend, off the Old Bend-Redmond Highway.
We will gather promptly at 11:00am for a brief meeting and then roll out on the route. We will travel on mostly low traffic paved and hard-packed dirt roads, however we will travel on Cline Falls Highway, a busy road with a shoulder for a few miles. We will travel past llama farms and enjoy some great views. There are no restrooms along the trail, but you may use mine at the start or end of the ride.

It helps to look at the map and cue sheet in advance and print it out if possible. Send it to your phone for voice navigation. Pay attention to the elevation profile to see where the hills are. You can also Navigate to start from the Ride with GPS map.
You MUST sign up to go on this ride. After you press ATTEND, be sure to fill out the “Complete Your RSVP” form with your cell number and Emergency Contact info, then SUBMIT. Please RSVP by 6pm on Tuesday, April 27th. If needed, please cancel in a timely manner. Remember to take yourself off the wait list if you do something else.
Rain cancels the ride. Check Meetup by 9am on the morning of the ride for any updates.
