Advance Beginner Mtn Bike Ride – Metolius Preserve Loops

This is a ride to view the autumn colors in the preserve. If you have never heard about the Metolius Preserve, you can read about it on the Deschutes Land Trust web page. It is a very special and unique place. The ride is 12miles, 465′ of elevation gain. https://ridewithgps.com/routes/34379210
We will ride at a conversational pace and regroup at intersections.
There are 3 loops to ride, some single track and some old dirt roads. Bring enough water and snacks, none available on the ride.
PLEASE NOTE: I WILL LEAD ANOTHER RIDE THE FOLLOWING WEEK THAT IS LONGER AND FASTER PACED. WAIT TO SIGN UP FOR THAT ONE IF THAT IS MORE SUITED TO YOU.
*****This ride is limited to 6 attendees. You MUST sign up to go on this ride. After you press ATTEND, be sure to fill out the
“Complete Your RSVP” form with your cell number and Emergency Contact info, then press SUBMIT. Please RSVP by 5pm on 10/13/2020_____ (date). If needed, please cancel in a timely manner so that someone else can take your spot.
We will practice social distancing and wear our masks when necessary.
*****Bella rides are “no-drop” rides and no one will be left behind. In consideration of others, we ask that you choose a ride that is close to your skill level based on the description given of the ride. If you choose to leave the group by going significantly faster or slower, or taking a different route, you have an obligation to let the leader know. When you leave the group, you are on your own.
No guests are allowed on this ride. You MUST be a current paid Bella member to attend.
Rain, snow and smoke will cancel this ride. Please check Meetup site for any changes by 8am, the morning of the ride.
